AC Ventures (venture capital)

AC Ventures of Florida is a Florida based venture capital firm which invests in early-stage companies engaged in space industry. The company aims to bring venture capital funding to a broader market as opposed to being solely funded by the government. It focuses mainly on companies involved in space data service applications, space exploration technologies, space news and data, and space focused on STEM education. The geographic target of the company is Americas, Africa, and Europe.

In July 2019, the company invested in Space in Africa, an African space news agency providing daily news and analysis, research, and consulting services. Other investment includes RBC Signals, which provides global satellite ground station “Infrastructure as a service” with real-time access to their satellites in LEO (Lower Earth Orbit), MEO (Medium Earth Orbit), or GEO (Geostationary Equatorial Orbit).

Adam B. Cohen founded the company in 2019. Cohen previously founded Covenant Review and Fulcrum Financial Data, which were acquired by Fitch Group, a unit of Hearst, in July 2018.
