i3 Equity Partners is an Israeli investment firm focused on early-stage Israeli Internet of Things (IoT) startup companies. The company provides three services to support IoT startups—seed and follow-on investment; technology support, such as knowledge sharing and networking; and introduction to potential customers at the prototype stage. Noga Kap and Eran Wagner are the managing partners. i3 Equity Partners also works with industry leaders as Partner-Investors. Partner-Investors include GE Ventures, M12 (formally called Microsoft Ventures), Pitango Venture Capital, Qualcomm Ventures, and Tata Industries.
The firm was co-founded by Eran Wagner in October 2016.Ramot, the technology transfer office of Tel Aviv University (TAU), also helped establish I3 Equity Partners. Ramot's chief executive at that time, Shlomo Nimrodi, served as chairman of i3 Equity Partners when the company was founded.
In November 2016, the firm launched a $20 million fund called "Israel IoT Innovations - i3 Equity Partners" in partnership Tel Aviv University (TAU), Pitango Venture Capital, General Electric, Microsoft, Qualcomm Ventures, Tata, and the Chinese company HNA EcoTech.
The firm has made eleven investments overall, in Xtend, Oxeye Security, Tulu, Vanti Analytics, Frontegg, Zencity, Prisma Photonics, and Nanofabrica.
