Wolfgang Voigt

Wolfgang Voigt is a German record producer, musician, electronic musician, and disc jockey known for his work in ambient music. He was born on January 1, 1961, in Cologne, Germany. Voigt is the founder of the music label Kompakt.

Throughout his career, Wolfgang Voigt has assumed many pseudonyms to represent different aspects of his music, including Studio 1, Tal, Vinyl Countdown, Wassermann, and X-Lvis. He has also worked under the names of Mike Ink, All, Auftrieb, Brom, C.K. Decker, Centrifugal Force, and many more. Some of his other known aliases are Freiland, Gas, and Love Inc., among others.
