Wellspring Worldwide Inc. is an innovation and technology commercialization program that offers technology scouting, corporate venturing, licensing and intellectual property software for corporations and universities. The company was founded as a spin-out of Carnegie Mellon University in 2003 by Rob and Sandi Lowe.

Scout is Wellspring's emerging technology search engine which uses artificial intelligence to produce venture capital and startup results.

Flintbox is Wellspring's technology scouting platform that includes expert insight on multiple technology sectors and innovation within industries. It includes summaries and data related to new and existing technologies and the startups utilizing or researching them. Flintbox, originally a Canadian company founded at the University of British Columbia, was acquired by Wellspring in 2009. The new Flintbox platform was released May 15, 2019 and is targeted for e-commerce clients interested in scouting university inventions.

Tech Transfer is a flexible IP management suite for corporate relations, research sponsorship, supply chain logistics and process automation.
