Watchtower Library

Watchtower Library includes the Bible encyclopedia Insight on the Scriptures, books, brochures, tracts, and magazines. It also includes helpful research tools, such as the Watch Tower Publications Index and the Research Guide for Jehovah’s Witnesses. You can search for a word, phrase, or scripture citation in any of these publications.

The downloadable file is about 2 GB in size. If internet bandwidth or cost is an issue, you can obtain an installation DVD from a local congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Click the Download button to find out if Watchtower Library is available in your language.

System Requirements

Watchtower Library requires a computer or laptop with a Pentium-compatible processor or higher, running Microsoft Windows 7 or higher, with at least 48 MB of RAM for the application and 3 GB of free disk space on the C: drive.

Note: If your computer is running Microsoft Windows 7, you will first need to download and install a third-party utility that allows you to mount an ISO file. You can find such a utility by visiting the Microsoft website.

Installation Instructions

Follow these steps to download and install Watchtower Library:

Click the Download button on this page.

Select a language from the list, then click the Download button.

Right-click the ISO file, then click Mount. (Note: This step may vary if you are using a third-party utility to mount the ISO file. Therefore, follow the instructions provided by your utility software.)

Double-click the file named WTLSetup.exe, then follow the on-screen instructions to install Watchtower Library.
