Vladimir Viktorovich Mukhin (born March 15, 1983, Essentuki, Stavropol Territory, RSFSR, USSR) is a Russian chef, vice-champion of the S. Pellegrino Cooking Cup competition (2013), chef of the White Rabbit restaurant in Moscow.
In 2014, the restaurant "White Rabbit", whose cuisine he heads, entered the list of the 100 best restaurants in the world in 2014 and immediately rose 48 places (from 71st in 2014 to 23rd) in 2015, becoming a sensation of the rating. In 2016, at the award ceremony in New York, "White Rabbit" took the 18th place in the rating, becoming the first Russian in the top twenty best restaurants in the world. In the 2017 rating, the restaurant again occupies the 23rd line
Vladimir Mukhin is a cook in the fifth generation. He started his career at the age of 12 in the kitchen of the restaurant where his father worked.
In 2004, he graduated from the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics with a degree in "engineer-technologist of public catering". He had internships in restaurants "Belgrade", "Kitay-Gorod", "Nostalgia", "Cafe Pushkin".
In 2000, he joined the famous chef Alexander Nikolaevich Filin, president of the National Guild of Chefs, at the restaurant "Red Square, house 1".
In 2003, together with A. N. Filin, he opened a cafe "Buloshnaya", and a year later he headed the kitchen, becoming the youngest chef in the Guild of Chefs.
