Viktor Bunyakovsky

Viktor Bunyakovsky (1804-1889) was a mathematician and a teacher hailing from the Russian Empire. He was born on December 16, 1804, in Bar, Vinnytsia Oblast. He received his education at the University of Paris. Notably, his doctoral advisor was the well-known mathematician Augustin-Louis Cauchy.

Throughout his career, Viktor Bunyakovsky made significant contributions to the field of mathematics and also taught as a teacher. He passed away in Saint Petersburg on November 30, 1889.
