Biography
In March 2016, Upset made his competitive debut playing for Mysterious Monkeys in the ESL Meisterschaft Spring Cup, placing 3-4th due to a loss against EURONICS Gaming. He eventually debuted in the EU CS on Nerv, alongside the likes of Wickd and Caps. This resulted in a winless split, with the team placing 6th with a 0/2/3 record, and Upset left the team at the end of the year. Following their relegation to the EU CS, FC Schalke 04 Esports rebuilt their entire roster and signed Upset as the new AD Carry.
On FC Schalke 04 Esports, Upset went through a 5/0/0 regular season in the CS 2017 Spring split, but they eventually fell short against Misfits Academy, who managed to beat them 3-1 in their qualification game. This resulted in Schalke playing another EU CS season, where they beat Red Bulls 3-1 to qualify for the EU LCS 2018 Spring split. Upset stuck with the team, and after an 8th place in Spring, the team became the runners up in the 2018 Summer Season, losing 3-1 against Fnatic in the finals. They eventually fell short in the regional finals with a 3-1 loss against G2 Esports, losing out on a slot at Worlds 2018. Upset remained with the team for another year, finishing 3rd in summer and once again missing out on Worlds, and he made the change to Origen heading into the 2020 season.
With Origen, Upset and co. placed 4th in their first season, beating Rogue in playoffs but eventually falling short against G2 Esports. The team entered the summer split with hopes of making it further, but eventually fell into turmoil as they made a mid-season roster change, replacing Destiny with Jactroll. They placed 10th in the season, and Upset left the team shortly after. On November 26th in 2020, Upset signed with Fnatic for the 2021 season.
