When a collision avoidance control unit determines that an obstacle detected by a radar sensor and an own vehicle are highly likely to collide with each other, the collision avoidance control unit reads a state signal output by a parking support control unit, and determines whether or not the state signal indicates a specific state, which is a state where parallel parking support is being carried out or a state where exit support is being carried out. When the state signal indicates the specific state, the collision avoidance control unit inhibits the automatic braking.
