The control unit is connected to the motor controlling the motor's operation. The motor of the Heart Assist Device further comprises a rotor without an axial pin running in magnetic bearing. The present disclosure has smaller size and consumes less energy to longer battery lives. The device has high power so that it generates high blood flow. The contact surface is small enough so that it does not cause any harmful effects for blood cells and coagulation systems.
