The movement of the second cover can be restricted by one or more objects inserted through a partition between the first and the second compartments, such as an electronic cigarette battery and/or an electronic cigarette. A hinge can be adapted to move the covers between a first position in which a compartment is closed and a second position in which the compartment is open, the covers can be detached to open a compartment and reattached to close the compartment, and the cover can be a first portion of one or more exterior faces of the box and can slide to open the compartment.
