Elastomer composition comprising at least one elastomer and at least one vegetable oil derivative selected from one or more of: a. mixture of triglycerides comprising one or more of the following oligomeric structures: R4[OC(O)R1C(O)OCH2CH(OR2)CH2]nOR3 and said mixture of triglycerides having a Numerical Average Molecular Weight (Mn) of between 800 and 10,000, b. triglycerides of one or more long chain carboxylic acids including at least one carboxylic acid containing adjacent hydroxyl groups, c. esters of polyols with at least a monocarboxylic acid and at least a dicarboxylic acid, the said esters being other than triglycerides.
