Bacterial agents for preparing compositions which are for cosmetic, pharmaceutical or veterinary use and which are intended to stabilize and/or regulate the cutaneous ecosystem of mammals. These bacterial agents are extracts of a bacterium, or a bacterium and are selected for their adhesion to skin cells and anti-adhesion to pathogens of the cutaneous system.
