The terminal comprises means for detecting change in the terminal capabilities, and means for transmitting information on the change in the terminal capabilities to the device management server. In addition, the invention relates to a system for transmitting information used in connection with the terminal configuration between the terminal and the device management server. Further, the invention relates to a method in the configuration of the terminal, to a method for providing configuration information to the terminal, as well as to a computer software product to be used in the terminal configuration.
