A foundation in the form of a water-in-oil emulsion comprising a fatty phase, an aqueous phase, at least one surfactant chosen from C8-C22 alkyl dimethicone copolyols, at least one other surfactant chosen from dimethicone copolyols, and hydrophobic coated pigments, where the fatty phase comprises at least 30% by weight, relative to the total weight of the emulsion, of a volatile fatty phase comprising:at least 6% by weight, relative to the total weight of the emulsion, of at least one volatile hydrocarbon oil, andat least one volatile oil chosen from silicone volatile oils and fluorinated volatile oils; wherein the foundation is stable after storing at room temperature (25° C.) for at least 2 months and makes it possible to obtain a homogeneous make-up on the skin.
