The drive device has at least one power semiconductor, in particular for controllable application of an electrical voltage to the electric motor, a control circuit for controlling the power semiconductor, and a mounting plate which, for example, is in the form of a printed circuit board. At least one portion of the control circuit, in particular electrical and/or electronic components as well as the conductor tracks (which connect the electrical and/or electronic components) of the control circuit, is arranged on the mounting plate. The power semiconductor is arranged on the mounting plate and/or on a mount element, which is mounted on the mounting plate.
