Systems and methods are provided that enable a wireless communication device to send a predetermined data object to a destination address for the companion wireless communication device in an active voice call. When an active voice call is in session, a data object is identified such as an image captured by an integrated digital camera. A destination address module obtains the destination address of for the companion wireless communication device and the data object is then sent to the destination address over a data communication channel that is established simultaneously with the active voice call.
