A seat main body of a reel seat has a divided structure of a first main body including a part where a reel foot mounting portion, a fixed hood, and a moving hood are arranged, the first main body being formed in a tubular shape secured on an outer peripheral surface of a fishing rod, and a second main body made of a material having strength equal to or less than the first main body, the second main body being disposed on and fixed to a surface of the first main body.
