The vibration dampening device comprises a chassis and one or more vibration dampening grommets. The chassis comprises first and second interlocking pieces configured to be disposed between the mount head and the base moveable relative to each other. The chassis includes structure for limiting movement of the first and second interlocking pieces relative to each other.
