The custom mounting bracket may comprise a first piece configured to be secured to an electrical junction box of a wall and a second piece comprising threaded pins. The adapter plate may comprise an interface configured to connect to an AC supply and enable a light fixture to be mounted to the custom mounting bracket and the adapter plate. The adapter plate may comprise a power adapter configured to provide the AC supply to the light fixture and convert the AC supply to a DC source. The base may comprise a circuit configured to receive the DC source and generate video data. The base may be configured to slide in and out of the adapter plate to adjust a distance between the adapter plate and the base.
