The electric vehicle component has a battery device (3) for supplying the drive unit (12) with electric energy. A run-on element (4) is arranged on the drive device (2) and is configured for running onto the battery device (3) in a targeted manner with a run-on geometry (14) in the case of an accident-induced movement of the drive unit (12) so that a punctiform and/or inhomogeneous loading situation of the battery device (3) is counteracted.
