A method for dynamic adjustment of thresholds may include obtaining costs related to computing resources that have been used by a user. A resource utilization threshold may be dynamically adjusted based on at least one parameter. The at least one parameter may comprise the costs related to the computing resources that have been used by the user. A utilization rate of the computing resources by the user may be compared to the adjusted threshold.
