The electronic eyewear device may comprise a temple, a touch sensor, a plurality of electronic components, and an enclosure partially enclosing the touch sensor and the plurality of electronic components. The enclosure may have a first opening that exposes a surface of the touch sensor. The exposed surface of the touch sensor may define a top surface of the plurality of electronics components. The enclosure may be attached to the temple.
