The Org is a network providing information about the internal organization of companies. The Org was founded in 2017 by Christian Wylonis and Andreas Jarbøl. Christian Wylonis is currently the CEO, and Andreas Jorbøl is the CTO. The Org has offices in New York and Denmark.
The Org platform provides viewers access to charts of a company's employee organization. The managerial structure of a company is presented using a hierarchical organization with the CEO at the top. The Org charts were designed with the intention to create transparency, as well as provide visibility for lower level of employees within organizations. The diagram also functions to show vacant positions.
The Org is a public platform, allowing the viewer access to all organizational charts. In order to use some features, membership is required. The Org functions as a networking tool, through the membership. Organization pages consist of a description of the company, an organizational chart, relevant news (wires) and a list of available jobs. Members have the ability to follow other companies and users, connect via "teams," and apply for jobs through the platform.
