StartOut is a US 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering and developing entrepreneurship in the LGBT community. They host 70 annual events and have a network of more than 15,000, StartOut is connecting the entrepreneurial ecosystem, educating entrepreneurs on issues surrounding the business lifecycle and working with the LGBT community by profiling out and successful founders. StartOut currently has chapters in San Francisco, New York, Austin, Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, Denver, Seattle, and have more in development.
In addition, the StartOut Global LGBTQ Entrepreneur Network is supported by Citi Ventures partners with entrepreneurship-focused organizations around the world (including Series Q in the UK) to reach more than 40,000 members. The Global Network works with the LGBTQ community by connecting entrepreneurs and their business partners, investors, and mentors with each other.
