SpaceForest looks to develop and commercialize technologies that are specialized in microwave techniques, artificial intelligence, electronic and rocket technologies. The company was officially founded in 2012, in Gdynia, Poland.
The company looks to design and create prototypes of subsystems for satellite technologies, as well as wireless power transfers and wireless sensor networks to be utilized in aerospace systems. The company looks to develop technologies that include their Filter Tuning Software.
Some of the space-based projects that have been completed includes their ESA Project: PLDRO II, EC Project: DEWI, and their ESA Project: JUICE. They are still taking part in their ESA Project: MLO, and their ESA Project: SSPA. Their PLDRO II project is name meant to develop key technologies for frequency generation. The project was carried out by the European Space Agency, and was partnered with the RUAG Space AB from Sweden. The main outcome of this project was a model of a 8.6 GHz ultra-low noise local oscillator that was integrated with a down-converter.
