Southie Autonomy’s solution is a novel no code, rapid method for robot instruction There is no learning curve. Training new loading configurations can happen in minutes, and the same robot can accomplish a nearly infinite multitude of tasks. Using Southie Autonomy’s full-stack robot arm software and robotic solution, Wizard and Codiac, to automate the assembly of aviation kits with a movable (manually or autonomously) two-armed robotic cell, this physically intensive task will be offloaded from personnel. Any Airman can easily deploy Codiac within minutes, using a simple wave of The Wand (UX device) to tell the robot what type of aircraft parts to kit, how many, and where to place it in the kit, even into foam partitioned containers. No coding or programming is required to use Codiac. Our proprietary, novel artificial intelligence (AI) and augmented reality (AR) software can detect and understand different shapes and sizes of parts and containers, then will move and place them into location in bins, compartments, pallets, or any other container. Southie shall extend this capability to mobile robots with two robot arms. The system can be moved (either manually rolled or autonomously driven to a new station) and re-tasked without writing a single bit of programming and be done in a fraction of the time it would take with any other robot solution on the market.
