Smetana band is a Ukrainian rock group from the city of Dnipro, founded in 2013 by Egor Kuvaldin and Sergey Savochkin. One of the main representatives of pop-punk on the music scene of Ukraine. They characterize their work as sad punk.

Initially (2013-2017), Smetana band was conceived by the members of the metal group All is illusion as a side project performing comedy rock. The idea appeared after the recording of the song "Tru pedovka", which suddenly gathered a lot of positive reviews. "We make fun of absolutely everything that a person can value, and we don't care how he reacts to it," the participants declared.

Since 2017, the group has been active in concert activities in the CIS countries and, at the same time, is changing its music towards modern punk rock, focusing on the quality of the musical material and the textual component, which resulted in the successful album "Everything is Bad" (2017) and the subsequent concert tour in support of the album in more than 40 cities.
