Seether is a rock band formed in South Africa in May 1999. The band performed under the name Saron Gas until 2002, when the current name was adopted. The album Disclaimer was the band's first album under a new name and their debut on a major label. The band gained notoriety with the US Active Rock #1 single "Fine Again" and cemented their success in 2004 with the single "Broken," which reached No. 20 on the Billboard Hot 100. Seether achieved continued success at #1 on the Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks chart with hits such as "Remedy," "Fake It," "Country Song" and "Words as Weapons." The band is currently signed to Wind-up Records.
