SeedOn's solutionWe aim to develop the next generation platform for crowdfunding that will minimize investments risks and promote transactions transparency with the help of blockchain technologyIn order to prevent a backed up project from being fraudulent, we have come up with the solution of splitting a crowdfunding investment round into multiple stages. That way, the project owner can have access to the investments according to the stage the project is currently in. Our solution will be based on a smart contract escrow model in order to facilitate stage based capital infusion.This will help minimize the risk and reduce the loss that the investors might suffer, in the less probable case that the project stakeholder will take the money and produce nothing - no product or no project.Being based on blockchain technology, our platform’s transactions will be accessible and visible to anyone, so that we promote transparency and build trust among our users.Historical funding data can be accessed at all times for all projects funded through our platform, under the form of a timeline, each funded stage including all specific details with success/failure rates or reasons, expectations met, etc.Funds from a new stage of the project will be unlocked with the help of smart contracts, only after all of the current stage’s requirements have been successfully completed.
