Sam Walton (March 29, 1918 – April 5, 1992) was born in Kingfisher, Oklahoma and passed away in Little Rock, Arkansas. Walton held American citizenship and was recognized as a businessperson. He received his education from the University of Missouri.
Walton was known for being the founder of Sam's Club and Walmart International, and was also referred to by the nickname "Sam". He was the father of John T. Walton, S. Robson Walton, and Alice Walton.
