The high-fidelity and broad scope of existing space mission design tools naturally lead to complex user interfaces and workflows. As a result, these tools require significant experience and training in order to be used effectively. By focusing on a broad-and-shallow approach, assumptions can be leveraged to create a simplified, streamlined interface and workflow which allownbsp;non-experts to rapidly generate accurate results and efficient designs.Sedaro Satellite is a suite of software as a service (SaaS) space mission design and systems engineering tools under development by Sedaro Technologies. This new platform enables systems engineers to complete satellite mission design, down to the subsystem-level, without a need for subject matter experts and expensive software tools. The goal of Sedaro Satellite is to improve the way that most satellites are designed, while significantly reducing engineering hours and software costs.Sedaro Satellite simulations are run in the cloud, utilizing practically unlimited computing resources to rapidly populate trade spaces and disseminate results. With the intention of leveraging this capability and enabling streamlined integration into aerospace MBSE workflows, Sedaro Technologies is proposing an effort to upgrade Sedaro Satellite to enable the import, export, and use of SysML models within the platform.
