Ryan McKamie is CEO and co-founder of Certus Cybersecurity, a provider of information security services.
Ryan leads delivery of information security services to the company’s corporate clients, and acts as an advisor to corporate executives and entrepreneurs seeking to enhance their companies’ information security posture. Ryan is also retained by litigators as a consultant and expert witness in connection with commercial disputes involving information security.
Prior to co-founding Certus Cybersecurity, Ryan was a director at Visa Inc., where he worked in the company’s information security and risk organizations. At Visa, Ryan planned and executed standards-based information security assessments, led development of information security metrics and reporting for the company’s board, and supported programs focused on assessing and improving the security posture of Visa’s partners across the payments ecosystem. Earlier in his career, he served as a commissioned officer in the US Army, where he planned and executed IT and cybersecurity initiatives in support of Army missions and exercises in Afghanistan, Kuwait and Asia-Pacific.
