Rudolf Erich Raspe

Rudolf Erich Raspe (1736-1794) was a German writer, curator, geologist, chemist, and librarian. He is best known as the creator of the fictional character Baron Munchausen. Raspe was a citizen of Germany and was born in Hanover. He passed away in Killarney.
