RoosterBio is a biotechnology company suppling stem cell based products for research and development, clinical trials, and commercial products in the regenerative medicine industry. It's located in Frederick, Maryland, and was founded in 2013 by Jon Rowley. RoosterBio's stem cells are adult human mesenchymal stem cells (hMSCs). These adult stem cells are frozen and then shipped to customers for use. They can be used directly after thawing, eliminating the costly and timely stem cell expansion step normally undertaken by scientists working with hMSCs. The ability to use RoosterBio's stem cells directly after thawing is made possible by freezing them along with a custom engineered supportive medium system developed by RoosterBio.
