Computer game in the survival horror genrefrom the Resident Evil series . Released in 1998 for the PlayStation . The game takes place two months after the events of the first game, Resident Evil . The scene is the American town of Raccoon City, whose inhabitants have turned into zombies under the influence of a biological weapon called the T-virus, created by the pharmaceutical company Umbrella. Two protagonists, Leon Scott Kennedy and Claire Redfieldtrying to leave the city. Along the way, they meet other survivors and encounter the creator of the G-Virus (a more powerful variation of the T-Virus), a mutant-turned William Birkin.
The second part of a wonderful horror action game.
The original Resident Evil 2 was released in 1998, but in 2019 it returned with a completely new look. The updated version has transformed the familiar town of Raccoon City, thanks to the new engine - RE Engine. You can also now play both campaigns as Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield in third person to get a better look at the terrifying monsters.
