Ranulph Fiennes

Ranulph Fiennes, born Ranulph Twisleton-Wykeham-Fiennes on March 7, 1944, is a British explorer, writer, and athletics competitor. He was born in Windsor, Berkshire and is related to several other notable individuals, such as Joseph Fiennes, Mark Fiennes, Magnus Fiennes, Martha Fiennes, Sophie Fiennes, Hero Fiennes-Tiffin, and Ralph Fiennes.

Fiennes received his education at Sandroyd School, Eton College, and Mons Officer Cadet School. He has been awarded the Officer of the Order of the British Empire.
