Rafael del Pino (1920-2008) was a prominent Spanish businessperson born in Madrid on October 11, 1920. He held citizenship in Spain and was best known as the founder of Ferrovial, a multinational infrastructure and services company. Del Pino studied at the MIT Sloan School of Management and the Technical University of Madrid.
During his life, Del Pino occupied various leadership positions in the business world as well as served as a mentor to emerging entrepreneurs. His children, Rafael del Pino Calvo-Sotelo and Maria del Pino y Calvo-Sotelo, followed in their father's footsteps and took up careers as businesspersons. Rafael del Pino passed away in Madrid on June 14, 2008.
