Abstract

High brightness sources are needed in the LWIR with improved wall plug efficiency. QuantaSpec proposes a quantum cascade laser with four innovative improvements that eliminate inefficiencies in previous Quantum cascade laser designs. These improvements improve brightness, power, and wall plug efficiency while maintaining narrow linewidth. QuantaSpec is a leader in Quantum Cascade laser research and applications of quantum cascade lasers.
