He is an American actor.
He was born on September 26, 1930, in Jersey City, New Jersey, United States.
His mother, Margaret Raymond, was a police officer and his father, Philip Lupo Bosco, operated fairground rides.
Philip attended St. Peter's School in Jersey City, then attended Catholic University in Washington, D.C.
Until he was 27 seven years old, Bosco thought nothing of a career or a degree, having long since become an Army cartographer.
He himself can no longer remember what it was that made him want to enter the theater, but luckily that's what he did.
He feels most comfortable in classical roles, so the rare appearance on the silver screen - usually in the occasional role - it is not too worried.
An Emmy and Tony Award winner.
Passed away on December 3, 2018.
