Funding Round attributes
Peec AI, a Germany-based startup developing an AI search platform for marketing teams, has raised €7 million in funding, which includes a €5.2 million seed round and a €1.8 million pre-seed round completed in April 2025. The company has experienced rapid growth since its founding just five months ago, with the total funding raised reflecting the increasing demand for its platform.
Peec AI provides an analytics platform that enables marketing teams to analyze their brand visibility in AI search platforms such as ChatGPT and Perplexity, which are quickly changing how information is discovered. As 27% of consumers now use AI search engines for at least half of their queries, AI search has become a critical channel for marketing teams aiming to reach and engage audiences. The platform helps companies understand how their brand is performing in these AI searches by benchmarking against competitors, tracking mentions, and identifying sources that drive the most impact. This data helps marketing teams develop smarter strategies that can boost traffic and conversions through AI-driven search engines.
The seed round was led by 20VC, an early-stage venture firm, with participation from Antler, Foreword VC, Identity.VC, Combination VC, and S20. Kieran Hill, Partner at 20VC, highlighted the strength of the team behind Peec AI, noting their exceptional product sense, work ethic, and talent. Hill emphasized that the company’s growth and potential were key factors in their decision to invest. Christoph Klink, Partner at Antler, also expressed his belief in the importance of AI search, pointing to its rapid adoption and global reach, with Google alone reporting 1.5 billion monthly users of AI search. Klink noted that Peec AI offers the tools necessary for marketing teams to succeed in this emerging digital landscape.
Peec AI’s founders, including Marius Meiners, have a strong background in building companies. Meiners commented on the shift in consumer behavior, with more people turning to AI search engines for information, and emphasized the company’s mission to provide marketers with the tools needed to thrive in this new environment.
The funding will be used to expand the development of Peec AI’s platform, improve its AI search capabilities, and scale the company’s operations to serve the growing demand in the marketing sector. This funding will also support the company’s expansion as it positions itself as a leader in AI search analytics for marketing teams.
With the rise of AI-powered search engines, Peec AI is strategically positioned to address a crucial need in the marketing industry, providing businesses with insights to enhance their online visibility, improve their reputations, and ultimately drive growth in the evolving digital landscape.
