French anthropologist
Paul Broca, born on June 28, 1824, in Sainte-Foy-la-Grande, was a French biologist, physician, anthropologist, and politician. He held French citizenship and died on July 9, 1880, in Paris.
Broca was the founder of the Society of Anthropology of Paris. As an individual recognized for his diverse professional accomplishments, he was an influential and well-rounded figure in multiple fields.
