Paquito D'Rivera

Paquito D'Rivera, born Francisco de Jesús Rivera Figueras, is a Cuban musician, composer, and bandleader. He was born on June 4, 1948, in Havana, Cuba and currently resides in New York City. As a saxophonist, Paquito D'Rivera works in the music industry, specifically in the genres of jazz, Latin jazz, and post-bop.

Paquito D'Rivera has won several awards for his work, including the Grammy Award for Best Latin Jazz Album. He holds Cuban nationality and is a citizen of the country.
