OTP is an official partner of the United Nations Decade on Ecosystem Restoration Prog
ram. The organization host a variety of tree planting events and puts on an annual Million Tree Challenge in partnership with the United States Forest Service (USFS).
OTP also offers a free environmental curriculum for students of all ages and employee engagement sessions. They focus on education to create a lasting impact in communities. In their reforesting efforts, OTP is dedicated to planting appropriate species for each location. Those who choose to donate can choose a project to donate to in one of the four regions. One Tree Planted then pools the donations for each project and sends the funds to their reforestation partners. They maintain and monitor the trees for long-term survival and lasting impact. OTP provides public annual reports on this information.
