Oblivion is a 2013 American post-apocalyptic action-adventure film co-produced and directed by Joseph Kosinski, and produced by Peter Chernin with screenplay by Karl Gajdusek and Michael deBruyn, starring Tom Cruise in the main role alongside Olga Kurylenko, Andrea Riseborough, Morgan Freeman and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau in supporting roles.
Oblivion was released in IMAX by Universal Pictures on April 19, 2013[9] and held its world premiere in Buenos Aires on March 26, 2013. The film received mixed reviews from critics and grossed $286 million worldwide, on a production budget of $120 million.
