History

The plant was founded on September 25, 1948 by Decree of the President of the Russian Federation.Council of Ministers of the USSR.

1950-1951 - start of pilot production and production of the first batch of uranium products of the plant.

1960-launch of lithium production for processing raw materials into pure lithium and its salts.

1970-start of production of fuel elements and fuel assemblies for research reactors.

In January 1971, the plant was awarded the Order of Lenin by the decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR for successfully completing the tasks of the eighth five-year plan and organizing the production of new equipment.

1980-start of production of fuel elements and fuel assemblies for high-power power reactors cooled by water under pressure.

1996-joined TVEL Corporation.

In April 2010, the possibility of transferring 50% of the company's shares to Ukraine was considered.
