During his lifetime, Rimsky-Korsakov composed music in various genres, such as opera, symphony, and classical music. He had several notable works, including The Golden Cockerel, Scheherazade (Rimsky-Korsakov), and Symphony No. 1 (Rimsky-Korsakov).

Rimsky-Korsakov had a son named Andrey, and his father was also named Andrey. He passed away on June 21, 1908.
