Myriota

Myriota is an Adelaide, Australia-based provider of direct-to-orbit satellite connectivity for the Internet of Things, without need for ground stations.

Myriota is a provider of low-cost satellite IoT connectivity products intended to improve satellite communications. The company's products include advanced terminals, infrastructure, and applications for satellite-based Internet of Things (IoT). The company focuses on the following markets: data-driven agriculture, oil and gas, mining, environmental monitoring, and defense.

Network

Myriota's network uses low-Earth orbit constellations of nanosatellites, which work to retrieve data from anywhere on the Earth's surface. The modules work to transfer data through a cloud network into the satellite IoT, and vice versa, without need for a ground station. The nanosatellites are developed to be low powered, with a long battery life connectivity for IoT applications and simplified deployment and maintenance.

Myriota module

The Myriota module is the foundation for the company's nanosatellite IoT network. The module is built to be energy efficient and secure communications with the constellations of nanosatellites and the data pathways. These modules can be used for different applications, including IoT connectivity for tracking and monitoring applications.

Myriota Developer Starter Kit

Myriota offers users a Developer Starter Kit, or a DevKit, which includes an SDK, access to the Myriota API, a development board, antenna, enclosure, mounting brackets, battery holder, and a satellite simulator. This allows users to integrate data and connection to the Myriota network, as well as a chance to develop new use cases for the Myriota network.
