MiniPCR is an education technology company making biotechnology education products that is headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts and was founded in 2013 by the biotechnology company Amplyus. Biotechnology education products made by MinipCR are meant to be used for case studies, in laboratories in classrooms, and the field.

In 2017 the Lab in a Box program was started with support from the ISS U.S. National Laboratory and offers a way for teachers to bring biotechnology educational materials and equipment to classrooms across the United States. MiniPCR began funding to Lab in the Box program in 2019, and the company plans on sending out 27 Lab in a box biotechnology equipment loans to teachers in 18 states. As of 2019 the Lab in a Box program has reached over 3000 students in 26 states.
