Maksym Rylsky (7 March 1895 - 24 July 1964) was a Ukrainian poet, writer, translator, and politician. Born in Kyiv, Rylsky was educated at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. He was the founder of Executed Renaissance, a literary and artistic movement in Ukraine.

Throughout his career, Rylsky gained a Ukrainian nationality and contributed to various fields such as poetry, writing, and politics. Eventually, he passed away in Kyiv in 1964.
